Privacy policy

Updated October 2026

This policy explains what Longstanding Roofing collects when you visit this site or send a request, what we do with it and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain English. If anything is unclear, use the contact details at the end.

Notice at collection

When you send a request, we collect your contact details, a short description of the job and some information about how you reached the site. We use it to answer you, to talk through the job you asked about and to understand which pages help people. For California residents, this section is our notice at collection, and the table below lists each item.

What you tell us in the form

The request form asks for your name, phone number, email address, the kind of job and a message. You choose what to put in the message, so please leave out anything you would not want our team to read.

What a request carries

Each item below can be stored with a request, with the reason for it.

How we note where you came from

So we can see which pages and links lead to requests, the site notes the page where your visit began, the site that sent you, any campaign tags in the link and any advertising click identifier. It also notes whether the visit came from an AI assistant or AI search tool. These details are sent with your request.

Where that information is kept

These details are kept in your browser's local storage under the name lead_attribution. The first visit's details are kept, and they expire after 90 days. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings, and nothing is sent to us from this storage until you submit a request.

Phone calls

When you call (626) 435-8606, the call is answered by our team, and your telephone carrier keeps its own records of the call. If you leave a name and number, we use them to return your call.

How we contact you

We use the phone number and email address you give us to reply to your request, and to ask a question about it. Tell us if you would rather be reached one way than the other, and tell us to stop if you no longer want to be contacted. Texts from us may be automated, message and data rates may apply, and replying STOP to any text ends them. You do not have to agree to contact to buy from us.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It runs from your first page view and keeps running until you opt out. If you opt out, the site stops sending data to Google Analytics and clears the analytics cookies it can reach. You can change your choice at any time with the button below.

The site also sends a simple count of each page view to our own traffic system: the page, the page you came from and any campaign tags in the link. It sets no cookie and stores no identifier for this. If you have opted out, the view is still counted, marked as opted out, and no visitor identifier is made from it.

Opt-out signals

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site treats it as an opt-out of analytics. A choice you make on this site takes priority over the signal.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and requests travel to our intake system over the same kind of connection. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask that you do not send sensitive details in the message.

Who handles your information

Your request goes to our intake system, which keeps our customer records, and to the people on our team who answer it. Google Analytics receives visit data unless you opt out. A hosting provider serves the site, and a messaging service alerts our team that a request has arrived.

How long we keep it

We keep a request while it is being handled and for as long afterward as we need to run the business and meet legal duties. Ask us to delete yours, and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.

Sensitive information

We do not ask for government identification numbers, payment details, bank information or health information, and the form has no place for them. Please do not include any in your message.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of it. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will change the date at the top of the page. Changes that matter will be explained here in plain terms.
